Great Tattoo was founded in 2022 by longtime friends and tattooers Chris Marks and Jae Audette, with a simple goal: make great tattoos in a space that feels welcoming, creative, and real. Located in North Smithfield, the shop is rooted in Traditional tattooing—bold lines, strong color, and timeless designs—but we’re always open to anything awesome that comes through the door.
Since opening, our little crew has grown into a full-on family. We’ve welcomed a team of incredibly talented artists—René, Kats, Lyss, and our apprentice Sammy—each bringing their own unique style, personality, and passion to the mix. From classic flash to the downright strange (in the best way), and everything in between—whatever you're dreaming up, we’ve got someone who’s excited to tattoo it.
